Insurance.

All vehicles are insured for the damage to the vehicle or to the property of a Third Party.

For Campervans the hirer is responsible for the first NZ$5,000 ('the excess') of the cost of the damage to the Third Party property or rented vehicle. This excess can be reduced by the purchase of Excess Reduction Option 1 or 2 (see below).

For Rental Cars the hirer is responsible for the first NZ$1,800 ('the excess') of the cost of the damage to the Third Party property or rented vehicle. This excess can be reduced by the purchase of Excess Reduction Option 2 (see below).

Any bond banked may incur interest charges or exchange rate fluctuations for which we are not responsible.

Premium Cover Option (PCO)+. Hirers who purchase Excess Reduction Option 2, are also able to take out the Premium Cover Option, which waives their vehicle excess liability to nil. Premium Cover is available for a flat fee of NZ$40 per hire (irrespective of vehicle type or hire duration).

Pre-Purchase Fuel Option (PFO)+. This value-added option allows you to buy your first tank of fuel at a discounted rate from the "high-street" selling price in the immediate vicinity of the drop-off branch. Save up to 5% on fuel!

By purchasing PFO, you can also return the vehicle without having to re-fuel it prior to drop-off. Must be requested at time of pick-up please. There is no credit for unused fuel.
