A combination of unique activities and leisure time makes up this versatile, extensive tour – including flight.
 Day 1: Auckland – Waitomo – Rotorua
Travel by coach via Waitomo to Rotorua. The Waitomo glow-worm caves tour is included.
Day 2: Rotorua
Your half-day tour includes entrance fees to a thermal valley, trout springs and a farm show. This afternoon is free.
Day 3: Rotorua – Wellington
Coach via Lake Taupo and past the National Park volcanoes, to our capital city.
Day 4: Wellington – Picton – Christchurch
Cross Cook Strait by ferry to Picton and board the TranzCoastal train for Christchurch.
 Day 5: Christchurch
A full day to explore this attractive city.
Day 6: Christchurch – Greymouth – Glaciers
Board the TranzAlpine train to traverse the South Alps to Greymouth. Coach down the west coast to the glaciers.
Day 7: Glaciers
A free day to enable you to take an optional tour onto the glacier
Day 8: Glaciers – Queenstown
Travel through the South Westland Heritage Park and over Haast Pass to Lake Wanaka and Queenstown.
Day 9: Queenstown
A free day for optional activities such as jet-boating, 4x4 Adventures, ‘Earnslaw’ steamer cruises and much more.
 Day 10: Queenstown – Milford Sound – Te Anau
Travel through the Eglington Valley to Milford Sound and Mitre Peak. A cruise on the Sound is included. Return to Te Anau.
Day 11: Te Anau – Dunedin
Coach across rich farming country to Dunedin. This afternoon enjoy an Otago peninsula wildlife tour.
Day 12: Dunedin – Christchurch – Auckland
Free time in Dunedin this morning before travelling North to Christchurch where you are transferred to the airport to catch your flight to Auckland. Please note, no commentary is provided on this journey.
