TOUR
CODE TPBAM Your Ballooning adventure begins in the cool pre-dawn darkness as you are collected from your hotel. After a 30 minute drive to the launch site you will get to know the crew as they make final weather checks and explain the routine for the day. At the launch site gas burners are used to inflate the balloons just as the sun lights up the sky.Once floating gently in the air you will appreciate the vast remoteness of the Australian Outback. After landing you may become involved in assisting the crew as they pack the balloon back into its bag. You will then be transported to the bush campsite where you will be served a fresh breakfast accompanied by champagne and tropical fruit juice cocktails. You will then be transferred back to your hotel and given a commemorative flight certificate to complete your morning. Due to the imposition of mandatory flight insurance by the Australian Government under the Air Carries Liability Act, and the rapidly increasing premiums in the Adventure industry, insurance is covered by a separate fee and can be paid by cash, credit card or travellers cheques on the morning of the tour.
