Aussie Assist Tourism Services advises all tariffs quoted at time of booking are correct and subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to apply Administration, Amendment, Cancellation, Processing, Banking and/or Service Fees, to implement Menu changes due to seasonal availability, cancellation of or variation to any tour, in particular, ferry crossings, sailing, fishing, cruising and/or diving schedules - due to inclement weather. Outback touring and camping is included, parallel to undesirable conditions, all at the Operator's discretion and, more importantly, for your own safety. Minimum numbers apply to all tours. Blockout dates and/or surcharges may apply to some packages, e.g. Christmas/Easter/Public Holidays, weekends, high season and/or school holidays. Accordingly, Aussie Assist will not enter into any discussion and/or correspondence relating to Operator's Terms and Conditions.
In order to secure and confirm the booking, your Credit Card details are required as security in all cases.
All bookings MUST BE CONFIRMED IN WRITING and secured with a 30% Deposit.
Balance of funds must be cleared a minimum of 30 days prior to arrival/departure.
A non-refundable Service Fee of AU$33.00 (incl; GST) per person, per booking applies to all packages (accommodation and tours) and AU$22.00 (incl; GST) applies to single component bookings only – i.e. accommodation or tours. Following Confirmation, any Itinerary amendments requested will attract a AU$33.00 (incl; GST) Administration fee, per person, per booking.
In the event that you fail to board at time of departure (tours/flights/ferries), fail to arrive at the nominated time (accommodation) or wish to offload at any stage of the booking, no refund will be made. Please allow sufficient connection and transit time in your initial planning, particularly in the case of Airline Travel where new security processes are now in force and extra time is required.
Whilst it is a rare occurrence, ferry crossings are, from time to time, delayed or cancelled (adverse weather conditions) for your own safety and in the event that the crossing is not executed, and no later ferry is available, the Traveller needs to be aware that the only re-course for re-imbursement of alternative accommodation/travel, is through their private Travel Insurance policy.
OUR “NO SHOW” POLICY IS PRESENTED ON BEHALF OF OUR SUPPLIERS AND HAS NO ASSOCIATION WHATSOEVER WITH TRAVEL INSURANCE, WHICH REMAINS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE TRAVELLER.
In the unlikely event that a cancellation occurs, we reserve the right to apply the following fees :-
All Industry costs and/or penalties applied by Airlines, Operators & Hotels will be included, in addition to total cancellation charges.
Please note that Special Conditions apply to all Advance purchase/Pre-paid Vouchers which are valid for 6 months from date of issue. Whilst there are no refunds on Pre-paid purchases, the Voucher may be substituted for another booking, subject to availability and given sufficient notice for us to process and re-confirm your new booking. This would be a consideration, for example, in the event you had pre-booked an Outback 4wd Private Charter in peak season, when demand is high.
In light of ever-increasing Administration, Operational, Handling and Insurance costs, Aussie Assist Tourism Services, as a privately owned Organisation, does not compare to, compete with or reflect the supplier’s “daily rate” at any level of negotiation or supply of our tailor-made packages. In consideration of seasonal fluctuations and to assist in long term Itinerary planning and budgetary restrictions, all tariffs are based on a Contract Rate and not subject to re-dress or refund opportunities thereafter.
Further, Aussie Assist Tourism Services does not acknowledge or reflect any discounts, gifts, bonus offers, free nights or other form of incentive and/or promotion, *offered by the supplier, on direct bookings. Aussie Assist Tourism Services offers an exclusive Designer Tour Packaging service Australia-wide, a process requiring extensive research, negotiation, planning, follow-up and submission, based on the individual client’s personal preferences, schedule, restrictions, budget and/or special needs.
*Tour costs represent a complete package of personalised arrangements and no itemisation of costs will be rendered.
*Where/if a discount is offered, it will be subject to availability and based on the lowest price - i.e. excluding meals, transfers etc;
Where a fair compromise is unable to be reached, Aussie Assist Tourism Services reserves the right to reject or lapse any unpaid booking, in the face of conflict and with written notice to the client.
Should you have a genuine complaint outside our pricing parameters, we are (always) happy to address same and will strive, in every case, to effect a satisfactory conclusion for all parties concerned.
Whilst EVERY care is taken to ensure our clients receive maximum returns at minimum risk, AUSSIE ASSIST TOURISM SERVICES SHALL NOT BE HELD LIABLE for any loss, delay, damage, injury, cancellation or variation in the provision of or failure to provide such services - in particular and very specifically airline & ferry connections. Travel Insurance is strongly recommended, for your own peace of mind and in the event that you consciously choose to travel without Insurance, the Disclaimer automatically applies. We advise very strongly against travelling without protection.
DUE TO THE SHEER VASTNESS OF THIS BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY, WE WOULD RESPECTFULLY URGE OUR INTERNATIONAL VISITORS TO CAREFULLY STUDY THEIR INTENDED COURSE IN ORDER TO CALCULATE A REALISTIC TIME FRAME NECESSARY TO COVER SUCH LARGE DISTANCES - PARTICULARLY IN THE CASE OF CAMPERVAN/CAR RENTALS WHERE, WE HAVE DISCOVERED, PEOPLE LIKE TO MOSTLY "CRUISE" AND CAN EASILY LOSE TRACK OF TIME.
