New Zealand has an incredible number of activities ranging from the adventurous such as bungy jumping, jet boating and sky diving - to the more sedate such as punting on the Avon River, wine trails, the Trans Alpine scenic rail trip and farm visits.
Based near Christchurch, this is a unique opportunity to experience a quality "Bed & Breakfast" location, offering varying levels of comfort. Select from the many activities listed below and we will create a personalised itinerary together with all necessary transport, including air-conditioned minibus if required.
Your host is a keen, advanced skier and intermediate boarder, available as driver/guide for the day. All lift tickets, lessons, equipment and clothing hire can be arranged as well as transport to and from the ski areas.
Heli-skiing is also available - in some of the best South Island ski areas, accessible by 4WD or air conditioned bus. The season commences in June and ends in late October so the best snow is in July/August and September.
Winter in New Zealand is fantastic and this location offers some of New Zealand's finest skiing and snowboarding, only an hour from Mt. Hutt and the smaller club ski areas.
Accommodation.
Three comfortable bedrooms are available, each looking out into the garden, two upstairs and one down. One has twin single beds, one 2 double beds and the third has one double bed and one single bed.
There are two large living and dining areas for your relaxation. One has a large open fireplace perfect for those cold winter evenings after a day’s skiing or touring.
Cooked or continental breakfasts are included. Lunch and dinner are available on request at extra charge.
Traditional New Zealand dishes such as lamb roasts and barbeques are favourites. Something special such as crayfish/lobster, salmon and venison can be arranged. Perhaps your own freshly caught fish or game! For those wishing to dine out, two restaurants are also nearby.
